Online Support Group for Autistic Women
About
Hi & Welcome to our Online Support Group :)

The focus of this group is on wellness support for autistic women, it is a safe space in which to explore and understand your neuro-type and living and thriving as a neurodivergent person in a predominantly neurotypical world.
This group's primary purpose is for connection, support and encouragement. We want to keep this group a SAFE SPACE to learn and grow together as neuro-spicy people.
Often our neuro-differences, social differences and support needs make it challenging to easily join neurotypical social spaces in our communities. We may feel "othered", judged and misunderstood by well-meaning friends and family who just don't get the unique challenges we face.

GROUP RULES
Please keep interactions kind, polite and respectful.
This is a space to learn from each other - it is okay to get things wrong. When we know better we do better.
No hate speech or discrimination of any kind will be tolerated.
No bullying or direct attacks on individuals in this group either on the group or privately through the group.
No general rudeness, inflammatory posts and provocation.
We encourage all to post authentic news & to check for hoaxes. If anyone finds out a post is a hoax, please let us know.
This group is neuro-affirming, no ABA, puzzle pieces or light it up blue.
This space is gender-affirming and a LGBTQIA+ safe space.

Who may join?
The focus of this group is on adults, you have to be 18+ years old.
All neurodivergents are welcome! The focus is on autistic women, but we embrace the whole umbrella :)
You may be Autistic, have ADHD or both (AuDHD) and have other co-occurring conditions.
You may be late-diagnosed, only after your child or a family member was diagnosed with Autism/ADHD.
You may be self-diagnosed, formally diagnosed or still exploring a diagnosis.
You may struggle with the demands of daily life, relationships and your mental health.
At Eunoia Consulting, I prioritize family-centered care and recognize the importance of meeting the individual needs of each family member to promote wellness. I embrace diversity in all its forms, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, people from different cultures and races, those with disabilities, and those with different neurotypes and genders. We believe that by fostering an accepting and inclusive environment that values our differences, we can create safe places for our children and our families that benefits us all.

If you experience interactions on this group that you feel are derogatory, inappropriate or unkind, please let contact me at hanlie.eunoiaconsulting@gmail.com
Now that that is out of the way - welcome! We look forward to meeting you and connecting with you as our neuro-kin. Please feel free to connect with all of us, ask questions and post comments on our group.
