My Heart Behind This Work

I know that homeschooling can feel meaningful, beautiful, exhausting and overwhelming — sometimes all in the same week.

I also know how hard it can be when your child does not fit neatly into standard boxes.
Many families come to homeschooling after stress, school trauma, burnout, anxiety, sensory overload, learning differences, bullying, unmet support needs, or simply the deep knowing that their child needs something different.

Eunoia Consulting was created for these families.
Families who need clear information.
Families who need hope.
Families who need practical tools.
Families who want to support their children in ways that are gentle, realistic and affirming.

My resources are created to help parents feel more informed, less alone and more confident as they explore what may work best for their child and family.

The Eunoia Approach

Eunoia Consulting is rooted in a neuro-affirming, strengths-based and family-centered approach.
That means the resources here are not designed to “fix” children or force them into a narrow mold.

Every child is different.
Every family has its own story.
Every learner deserves support that honors who they are.
The goal is not perfection.
The goal is clarity, confidence, compassion and sustainable next steps.

This work is deeply informed by both personal and professional experience. With 12 years homeschool experience and a background in Social Work, Eunoia brings together compassionate and practical insight, and a deep respect for the individuality of every family’s journey.

I have a degree in Social Work, and I have more than 10 years of experience working as a full-time Social Worker with families and communities in various areas of service delivery. My approach is gentle, strengths-based, and neurodiversity-affirming. I believe that children and families thrive when they are understood, supported, and given the freedom to learn and grow in ways that work for them.

Eunoia means “beautiful thinking” or “well-mindedness.”

For me, Eunoia is about creating resources that bring clarity, compassion and calm to families who are trying to make thoughtful decisions about learning, wellness, identity and support.

It is about helping parents understand their child more deeply.
It is about creating space for neurodivergent learners to be seen, supported and understood.
It is about giving families practical tools without shame, pressure or perfectionism.
And it is about reminding parents that they do not have to figure everything out all at once.
